Impressions about the mobility in SPAIN by the Turkish team
The mobility of Spain was an unforgettable experience for me. It was my first visit to Europe. I observed some differences and some similarities between our culture and Spanish culture. First of all I want to mention that Spanish people were very hospitable and friendly towards us. When we went to lunch with Mayor of Maqueda, he offered his meal to me. I told that the meat with peas was delicious and all the time he insisted on giving his meal to me. I was very impressed by his kind behaviour. Although we do not have a common language we communicated with each other by using our body languages. Because of his fatherly behaviours I will never forget him.
When we visited our partner’s school I was impressed by the Comenius corners and notice boards. They were well organised and perfectly designed . The students’ names were written on the clothe hanger in order not to cause a mess. It was the first time that I have ever seen such a practice in the school and I loved it. Also their names were written on their desks so they knew where they sat.
The teacher in the class taught the students as if she was playing a game with them. She sang songs with the students and she acted to teach more effectively. At the end she gave awards to the students in order to motivate them. I learnt how to teach phonetics in Spanish and enjoyed a lot in the class.
We visited some important places in Madrid, Toledo, Torrijos and Maqueda. The tourist attractions were spectacular. The buildings kept their originality and I felt their history . The streets were very wide and clean. The cities had such a tranquility thet I felt myself very peaceful and happy. Even my headmaster felt that tranquility and added that this was the first time he had ever such a peaceful sleep in his lifetime J
Finally I can say that the programme was very well organised and the team worked to make us happy. They were all the time with us and they did their best. Thank you for everything and we will never forget those days in Spain.

On March, the 4th we did our first international visit. We went to project partner’s country, Spain. On the first day we reached Torrijos. We settled to the hotel that we were going to stay.
On the second day we visited the project partner school. We observed students’ project activities. We were informed about the work of teachers and the team of project coordinator school. It was a warm and nice welcome. On many places of the school, we observed the students’ works on the process of the project. We had the chance to know the project partner school, their students and the Maqueda Village.
On wednesday, by means of the project we did some activities in El Retiro Park, Madrid. The participation of all countries was quite nice. Many different studies appeared in. I think that students’ participation in particular activities is more effective and creative.
On thursday we visited Toledo City. We had a quite impressive city tour. Furthermore the authorized persons of the provincial education was introduced and was given information about the project. They were quite concerned about the project and the participants. On friday, all project partners made a presentation at the hotel. We had a chance to evaluate activities and works of all other countries .Torrijos trip was on saturday. A certification program took place.
Generally. the week was well-planned and efficient for the project. The works of the host country as well as the project partners are efficient in terms of the project.
